Summary

We don't sell, share, or monetize your data. The site uses Google Analytics gated behind your explicit consent — cookies are only set after you accept. Purchases go through Freemius, which has its own privacy policy. The Quotelix plugin runs on your own server; we never see your store's customer or quote data.

Data controller

The data controller for personal data processed through gettradely.com is:

Quotelix

For any privacy-related enquiries you can reach us at the address above. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Cookies

The site uses the following cookies:

  • gettradely_consent — stores your cookie consent choice (accepted / declined). Strictly necessary; set before any analytics load. Stored in localStorage, not transmitted to any server.
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — set only after you accept analytics. Used to distinguish unique sessions. _ga expires after 2 years; _ga_* expires after 24 hours. IP addresses are anonymised before being sent to Google.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the gettradely_consententry from your browser's local storage; the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-party services

  • Freemius — handles Pro plugin purchases, license activation, billing, and update delivery. When you buy or activate a license, the relevant payment and account data flows to Freemius. See Freemius Privacy Policy.
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics) — processes aggregate, anonymised analytics described above. See Google Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data safeguards.
  • Email newsletter provider — if you subscribe via the footer form, your email address is stored with our email newsletter provider. You can request the name of the specific provider by writing to support@gettradely.com. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

We are not responsible for the data practices of these third parties. Links to their policies are provided for your convenience.

International data transfers

Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC, headquartered in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, this constitutes a transfer of personal data outside your jurisdiction. Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission and participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework as transfer safeguards.

Freemius similarly processes data in the United States and relies on SCCs for EEA transfers. See their privacy policy for details.

Data inside the Quotelix Workflow plugin

The Quotelix Workflow plugin runs entirely on your own WordPress site. Quote requests, customer contact details, line items, and email logs are stored in your site's database — not on Quotelix / gettradely servers. We never see your store's buyer data.

The Lite plugin makes no outbound connections during normal use. The Pro plugin contacts Freemius for license validation and updates; payloads include site URL, license key, and plugin metadata required for licensing — never your quote contents or customer data.

As the operator of your WordPress site, youare the data controller for your customers' data. You are responsible for your own privacy policy and compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) regarding the data your store collects.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding personal data we hold about you:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure— ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction — ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing

To exercise any of these rights, email support@gettradely.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

EU / UK residents: if you believe we have processed your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — for example, the relevant Data Protection Authority in your EU member state, or the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address any concern before you contact a regulator.

California residents have analogous rights under CCPA / CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of sale (we do not sell personal data). The same contact applies.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our data practices change. Material changes will be noted with a fresh “Last updated” date, announced in the plugin changelog, and — where required by law or where the change significantly affects your rights — notified to active Pro license holders by email.
