No. The plugin sits alongside native WooCommerce. Add-to-cart still works for any product, role, or category you didn't configure for quote mode. You decide what's behind the quote wall.

Yes. A visitor token is stored client-side without touching the cart session, and quote items survive page reloads for 14 days. Logged-in customers also get a My Quotes tab inside WooCommerce → My Account with their full submission history.

Storefront quote requests, customer quote history, and existing quote records remain active. Pro admin features such as pipeline editing, quote management, PDF administration, and quote-to-order conversion require an active license; updates also stop until you renew.

Yes. The plugin attaches to standard WooCommerce hooks for product loops, single product pages, and My Account. Default styling is minimal and inherits your theme's typography. Deeper theme template overrides are on the roadmap.

Activating Pro on the same site automatically migrates your Lite settings, product-level quote rules, quote records, and any active visitor quote lists. The Lite plugin is then deactivated and can be safely removed. Existing [qwfw_quote_list] shortcode pages keep working without edits.

Yes. The package is GPLv2-or-later, no obfuscation. Licenses cover updates and support; the code itself is yours forever, on every site your tier allows.

Not directly. Pro ships with a REST API (7 endpoints under quotelix-workflow/v1) and the standard WordPress action/filter system for integration work. For larger projects, any WooCommerce-savvy agency can extend the codebase — it's GPL with no lock-in.
